Report by Santanu Ganguly; New Delhi: Niyogi books launched it’s latest title “Jaipur Quilts” written by Krystyna Hellstrom on 12th January, 2012 at an impressive function held at the India International Centre, New Delhi.
Chief Guest, Ms. Jaya Jaitly (Founder-President, Dastkari Haat Samiti) released the book and highly appreciated the efforts and inputs of the Author and the Publisher in producing this interesting publication which celebrates the excellent traditional craftsmanship, the aesthetic beauty as well as the high utility value of the “Jaipur Razai”.
The Swedish – based author Ms. Krystyna Hellstrom gave a very interesting audio-visual presentation on her publication also highlighting the traditional values and interests which go into the designing of quilts.
The event was well attended by the art, literary and cultural stalwarts of the city along with the media.

Krystyna worked with Swedish Television and for Emilio Pucci in his fashion house in Florence, which was one of the best places in the world to learn about exquisite textiles and original design. She has also written for interior design magazines.
