While researching my book A Calendar Too Crowded, I looked at different angles affecting our lives and corporate setting played a major role. The team dynamics today are changing in corporate houses but there are no policies or training to back that change. Little is done to sensitise about dealing with female counterparts/ colleagues or even setting guidelines on recruitments. It’s quite alright to be aware of one’s rights and be working towards them, but no matter how much we think we can, the glass ceiling refuses to be shattered without the chains of formality. In an evolved society where each one knows how to deal with varied instances of diversity – gender, professional etc, there need not be rules, but in a society whichis emerging like ours, without a channelised utilisation of the energy, it’ll all be too spluttered and wasted.
